Our Testimony – The Heritage We Bear
Heritage is not measured in silver or stone, nor preserved merely in the archives of men. True heritage belongs to what cannot be weighed or touched: what breathes through faith, through memory, through the invisible grace that binds generations together.
We are heirs of a kingdom that is not of this world, coheirs with Christ Himself. In Him, we receive not merely a promise but a living inheritance: a heritage of eternity, of reconciliation, of love stronger than death. This is the treasure no thief may steal, no moth consume.
Yet heritage is also lived upon the earth. From our ancestors we receive tradition, the wisdom and devotion of those who came before us. In the story of Portugal, we inherit not only the music of language, the beauty of custom, and the strength of culture, but also the memory of a people shaped by faith and endurance. Our testimony, then, is woven of two threads (heavenly and earthly) and in their union we glimpse the mystery of God’s design.
